BYD SEALION 8

The BYD SEALION 8 Premium AWD combines a turbocharged 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive, creating a large SUV package that places equal emphasis on everyday refinement and confident traction. Its 35.6kWh BYD Blade Battery supports the electric side of the drivetrain, while the petrol engine provides additional flexibility for longer journeys.

This Premium AWD configuration is the range-topping specification shown on the configurator and adds a notably comfort-focused cabin. Leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver's seat and massaging front seats with four-way power lumbar adjustment and powered leg rests are designed to make time behind the wheel more accommodating. Outboard second-row passengers also receive massaging, heating and ventilation functions, extending the vehicle's attention to comfort beyond the front seats.

The interior is finished in black and includes a heated steering wheel, memory mirrors, footwell lighting and multi-colour ambient lighting. A 21-speaker DiSound sound system provides the audio focus, while the 26-inch head-up display is intended to keep key driving information within the driver's forward view rather than requiring frequent glances toward the central display.

On the road, the AWD system is paired with intelligent decoupling electric four-wheel drive and DiSus-C intelligent damping suspension. Together with 21-inch alloy wheels and Goodyear 265/45 R21 tyres, these features give the SEALION 8 a substantial specification with hardware suited to both sealed-road touring and changing surface conditions. Mud and sand drive modes add a degree of adaptability when the route moves beyond ordinary urban and highway use.

The selected exterior finish is Dark Aquamarine, complemented by 21-inch alloy wheels and a black interior. The vehicle is presented as an in-stock new model on the order configurator, with the displayed drive-away figure calculated for private NSW registration and including the listed vehicle and on-road components. Optional accessories are available separately but are not included in this vehicle configuration.
