Vehicle Overview

The 2026 BMW X6 M Competition combines the elevated driving position and practical shape of a large SUV with the focused hardware of BMW's M division. Its petrol engine produces 460 kW (625 hp) and 750Nm, with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive providing the core of a high-output grand touring package. The quoted 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.90 seconds places this X6 firmly in performance-car territory while retaining the broad-shouldered, five-seat format expected of a luxury SUV.

Finished in Black with a Grey interior, the vehicle has a distinctly understated base for its more purposeful M details. The M Sport Exhaust system, M Compound brakes and 21/22-inch M light-alloy wheels contribute to the model's performance-oriented specification, while M Lights Shadow Line and the extended High-Gloss Shadow Line treatment give the exterior a darker, more cohesive appearance. Sun Protection Glazing and the Panorama Glass Roof add useful everyday comfort without changing the X6's assertive design.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Full Leather Merino Silverstone and includes Carbon Fibre interior trim finishers, an Alcantara Anthracite headliner and M seat belts. The multifunctional M seats for the driver and front passenger have electric adjustment with memory, massage functionality and active ventilation, giving occupants a wide range of ways to tailor the seating environment. Four-zone automatic air conditioning and front and rear seat heating further support comfort across different journeys and passenger needs.

Technology is centred on BMW Live Cockpit Professional, Connected Package Professional and a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System. DAB+ radio, a Personal eSIM and wireless charging storage add convenient connectivity, while the Travel & Comfort System provides additional flexibility for passengers. Comfort Access and soft-close doors are among the features that make regular access and use feel more considered, while the alarm and anti-theft security systems provide added protection.

Driver assistance is comprehensive, with Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant Professional, High-Beam Assistant, Adaptive LED headlights, Intelligent Emergency Calling and Active Protection included. The specification also includes a Tyre Pressure Monitor, Active Pedestrian Protection and Remote Engine Start. Together, these systems are aimed at reducing the effort of everyday driving, whether manoeuvring in confined spaces, travelling after dark or managing longer highway journeys.
