Vehicle Overview

The 2024 Kia Sportage SX is a well-equipped medium SUV that combines a practical five-door layout with a comfortable five-seat cabin and a confident, contemporary design. Finished in Clear White with a black interior trim, this front-wheel-drive example offers a straightforward petrol-powered configuration suited to everyday transport, longer trips and the varied demands of family use.

Its naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine uses DOHC MPI D-CVVT technology and produces 115 kW of power and 192 Nm of torque. Paired with a sports automatic transmission, the drivetrain is designed to deliver familiar, easy-to-manage performance for urban driving and open-road travel. The 54-litre fuel tank supports practical touring flexibility, while the published combined fuel-consumption figures provide a useful basis for comparison with other vehicles.

Inside, the Sportage makes a strong case as an adaptable daily vehicle. The five-door body provides convenient access for passengers, while the 60/40 split-fold rear seats allow the cabin to be reconfigured when carrying larger items. A six-way driver's seat with height adjustment helps establish a comfortable driving position, and dual-zone climate control adds convenience when occupants have different temperature preferences.

The SX grade also brings useful technology for commuting and longer journeys. A 12.3-inch colour touchscreen serves as the centre of the multimedia system, with satellite navigation, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth multi-connection and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Six speakers and steering-wheel audio controls keep common functions within easy reach, while the available map and traffic information support more confident route planning.

Safety and driver assistance are well represented. Autonomous Emergency Braking, lane-keeping and lane-following assistance, Driver Attention Alert, Intelligent Speed Assist and Safe Exit Warning are complemented by front and rear parking sensors. A rear-view camera with dynamic parking guidelines helps with manoeuvring in tighter spaces, while downhill brake control, hill-start assist, electronic stability control, ABS and electronic brakeforce distribution contribute to the vehicle's broad safety suite.

Outside, the Sportage SX is distinguished by LED headlights and daytime running lights, dusk-sensing automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and electric-folding door mirrors. Eighteen-inch machined alloy wheels add a polished finish, and the full-size alloy spare wheel provides added reassurance when travelling away from town. With 47,704 km recorded, this example combines the Sportage's practical SUV packaging with a well-documented set of comfort, connectivity and active-safety equipment.
