The 2026 Kia EV5 Air Long Range is a fully electric wagon with a practical five-seat layout, front-wheel drive and a single-speed reduction gear transmission. Finished in Snow White Pearl, this demo vehicle combines the EV5's upright, useful body design with a specification focused on everyday comfort, connected technology and driver assistance.

Its electric drivetrain is paired with adjustable regenerative braking, allowing the driver to vary how the vehicle recovers energy while slowing. Selectable driving modes and user-selectable electric steering assistance provide additional flexibility in different driving conditions, while the automatic transmission keeps the driving experience straightforward and quiet. The front-wheel-drive layout is suited to normal road use and complements the vehicle's family-oriented wagon packaging.

Inside, the EV5 provides seating for five, with a second row that reclines and splits to fold. That flexibility makes it easier to balance passenger accommodation with the need to carry larger items. A cargo cover, tie-down hooks and a remote boot release add useful detail for day-to-day loading, while storage provisions include bottle holders and cup holders for both seating rows, a centre-console compartment and a cooled compartment for the second row.

Comfort equipment includes two-zone climate control, heated front seats and a driver's seat with electric adjustment, lumbar support and massage functionality. Partial leather-look seat trim and a leather-look steering wheel add a more polished feel to the cabin. The full digital instrument display, colour multifunction screen and digital radio provide a contemporary information and entertainment interface, with satellite navigation, Bluetooth and voice recognition also included.

Smartphone connectivity is well covered through wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while USB charging sockets and auxiliary connectivity help keep devices useful on longer journeys. The six-speaker stereo, multifunction steering wheel and keyless start system further reduce the need to interact with a phone or reach across the cabin while driving.

Visibility and parking support are addressed by a rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, graphical parking assistance and rear cross-traffic warning. Blind-spot monitoring with active assistance adds another layer of awareness when changing lanes. The vehicle also includes forward collision warning, collision mitigation for high- and low-speed situations, reversing collision mitigation, pedestrian and vulnerable-road-user detection, lane departure warning and active lane-keeping assistance.

Adaptive cruise control incorporates distance control, lead-vehicle start assistance and a brake function, while the speed limiter and road-sign recognition system help the driver manage changing speed zones. Driver attention and fatigue warnings, rear seat occupancy monitoring and side door exit warning extend the safety focus beyond the basic restraint and braking systems.
